Mr Robert Cornall AO has been appointed to lead an independent study that will provide recommendations to the Australian Government around a sustainable model of veterans’ advocacy services in Australia. Over the next few months he will be holding meetings in cities and regional locations, to speak with individual veterans, current and former ADF members and their families, current advocates, ex-service organisations, and with representatives from across the defence and veteran communities.
Rob will be at The Quest Hotel, in Whyalla on Wednesday 4 July and Thursday 5 July. I hope as many people as possible, can become aware of this opportunity to meet with him to share their views around the sort of advocacy support they would like during their interactions with DVA, or what they would consider important features for a future advocacy service for Australian veteran and their families
